Description:
Create beautiful Ikebana a.k.a. Japanese floral arrangements with the kenzan tool!
The kenzan, Japanese word for "sword mountain", is a heavy based tool with densely packed, upright, metal spikes used to secure stems in place for floral arrangements. It is typically used for Moribana style of Ikebana, created by the Ohara School, which uses a shallow dish and a more free-style form of arranging.
No need for floral foam with this reusable tool! Simply insert your stems of choice into the spikes to secure them into place. If your stem is woody and difficult to pierce, cut a criss-cross on the end to allow it to nestle into the spikes. And don't forget to always top off your water to make sure it is reaching the stems!
Size: 7CM Diameter
Material: Silver spikes with rubber base
